Check Off Key Florida-Mandated CME Hours in One Morning
Saturday, November 7, 2026, 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM, at the FSU College of Medicine Pensacola Regional Campus, 11000 University Parkway, Bldg 234.
Join the Escambia and Santa Rosa County Medical Society for a focused, in-person morning of CME covering several of the topics Florida requires for license renewal. Local experts lead every session, and coffee and lunch are included.
DOs, this year is a big one! For the first time, Super Saturday includes Florida Laws & Rules, so DOs can earn hours toward three of their state-mandated topics in a single day: Medical Errors Avoidance (2 hours), Opioid Prescribing (2 hours), and Florida Laws & Rules / Professional and Medical Ethics (1 hour). DOs earn 3.0 AOA Category 1-A credits plus 2.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, with accreditation through the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.
MDs will earn their required hours in two state-mandated topics, Medical Errors Avoidance and Opioid Prescribing, plus an additional hour of general CME, for a total of 5.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

9:00 – 11:00 AM | Medical Errors Avoidance with Anna Uniacke and Dr. Cramer
11:00 – 11:30 AM | Lunch
11:30 AM – 1:30 PM | Opioid Prescribing with Dr. Steichen and Dr. Buchalter
1:30 – 2:30 PM | Florida Rules & Laws with Jason D. Winn

Non-members pay $100, which is waived if you join ECMS prior to registration.
Not ready to join today? Pay the $100 fee, and if you become a member any time before the end of 2026, we'll apply that $100 toward your first year of membership. Your CME is essentially free either way!
